Hoover Dam - 2005 Trip

Well worth the drive from Las Vegas, Hoover Dam created one of our more enjoyable days.  The guided tour of the dam is interesting, informative, and, at times, quite beautiful.  The drive through Lake Mead National Recreation Area is relaxing and beautiful.  Crossing the dam which takes you from Nevada to Arizona is a “must do”.  The views from the dam are exquisite.  In order to see the multitude of views of and from the dam with require a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes!
