Gotcha Capitalism by Bob Sullivan

Bob Sullivan explores how companies bilk their customers in Gotcha Capitalism: How Hidden Fees Rip You Off Every Day and What You Can Do About It.  He writes about credit card companiess, banks, cell phones, internet access provides, cable providers and grocery stories among others.  He explains what the fees are, how companies get away with charging them, and how the government helps them get away with it.  Then he talks about how to fight the fees.  Manyof his solutions made sense but others seemed time consuming and/or impractical for the average person.  He provides sample phone scripts and letters for fighting the fees.  At the very least, the book explains the fees people often question when they receive their bills. While not always na easy read, Gotcha Capitalism is interesting and informative enough to make readers look at their bills more closely.
