The Official Guide to Christmas in the South or, If You Can't Fry It, Spraypaint It Gold by David C. Barnett
The Official Guide to Christmas in the South or, If You Can't Fry It, Spraypaint It Gold by David C. Barnett is a quick, fun that will have Southerners and relocated Southerners chuckling and nodding. For non-Southerners, the book provides a bit of insight, funny in its shallowness, into the Southern mentality. If you've ever been to a Southerner's home for Christmas and left thinking "What was that?", this is a book for you!! As a Southerner, Barnette can give that little glimpse with just the right balance of appreciation and humor to allow him to show his face at his family's next Christmas.
